Terms of Service
Effective Date: February 19, 2026These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the IrisInsight mobile application ("App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Educational and Entertainment Use Only
IrisInsight is NOT a medical device, diagnostic tool, or healthcare service. The App provides educational and entertainment content based on iridology, an alternative practice not recognized by mainstream medicine. Nothing in the App constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
You should never use IrisInsight as a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for any health concerns. We make no warranties or representations regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any analysis provided by the App.
2. Use of the App
You agree to:
- Use the App only for its intended educational and entertainment purposes
- Not use the App to attempt to diagnose, treat, or prevent any medical condition
- Not reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Not use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to our services or systems
3. Accounts
The App creates an anonymous account automatically when you first use it. You may optionally link your account using Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and account. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized access to your account.
4. In-App Purchases
IrisInsight offers consumable credit packs for premium analyses. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions.
- Credits are consumable and are used when you unlock a premium analysis
- Credits do not expire
- Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies
- We reserve the right to change pricing at any time; existing purchased credits are not affected
5. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the App (including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio, software, and the compilation thereof) are the exclusive property of IrisInsight and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Your analysis results and eye photographs belong to you. We do not claim ownership of your content.
6. AI-Generated Content
Analysis results are generated by artificial intelligence. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies or errors. You acknowledge that:
- AI analysis is based on pattern recognition, not medical science
- Results may vary between analyses of the same image
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any AI-generated content
- You use AI-generated insights at your own discretion and risk
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, IrisInsight and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of the App.
In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for the App or in-app purchases in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Age Requirement
You must be at least 13 years old to use IrisInsight. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless IrisInsight and its developers from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your reliance on any analysis or content provided by the App.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Effective Date" above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation by contacting us at the email below. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, either party may pursue resolution through the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and IrisInsight regarding the use of the App and supersede any prior agreements.
